This website is dedicated ASFR. ASFR stands for "alt.sex.fetish.robot" a now extinct UseNet newsgroup. While the newsgroup focused on androids, automatons and robots, it also included statues and mannequins. The members of the group informally used ASFR as an an acronym for there fetish. Unfortunately, the newsgroup was overrun by spam postings and eventually died.

This website was created as a safe place for male ASFR and focuses on men being petrified or otherwise transformed into statues of stone, plastic, metal or other hard, inanimate substances. It also involves men being androids, automatons or robots. Included with this are men being time-stopped, transformed into ice or being frozen in ice, otherwise known as "cold play".
