Opinions on slimes?

Typically translucent, but anything works. It's much easier to see the melting/freezing with translucent. Plus, idk if those here would be as fascinated, but chemicals and their effects on slime are also fascinating to me.That's a lot easier to see in translucent.

I was always turned on by cartoons where a character was sprayed by an instantly hardening substance, glue or cement, for example, and watching the almost-instant effects...fast enough to be inescapable, but slow enough to reveal the character's reaction to being hit with it.
